It's been a long a productive summer for me, taking both classes and completing a summer internship. During the past few hectic weeks, I took the time to participate in the Brackeys 2020 Game Jam and spent a week developing a stand-alone game. The result: Overwind!
In this strategic arcade game, players must juggle a number of tasks - rotating VHS tapes, sorting them into the proper sleeves, ensuring they haven't been recorded over - all while trying to rewind them for later use. The catch is that tapes break if they rewind fully, so players must keep an eye on them and eject them manually just before they finish - without getting distracted by other tasks.
